Blue Mosque

The Sultan Ahmed Cami (Mosque) is one of Istanbul’s most famous site and is the top thing to do in Istanbul. Visiting Istanbul wouldn’t be complete without laying eyes on its beauty. It is well- known by its more common name, The Blue Mosque (Mavi Cami) because of the blue tiles surrounding the walls of its interior. It’s still a functioning mosque but visitors are allowed to enter if they follow the rules. Long pants ought to be worn and women should have their shoulders and heads covered. Located in the old city, it is an excellent way to begin your day before moving on to another sight nearby.

Have Local Meals

You can live a lot of dining experiences in Istanbul and the best way is to spend time with a local Turkish family.

A home cooked meal

Frequently you’ll meet friendly people that invite you for dinner and become quick friends, but you can also book dining experiences where you go to a house and dine on traditional food, learn about the local’s method of life and have lively speeches.

Top Acti̇vi̇ti̇es To Do In Istanbul

Traditional Turkish Coffee

If there is only one thing that you have to try in Turkey is Turkish Coffee. You can have it all over the world, but to have it in its country of origin is beyond heavenly. It takes perfect preparation to make this tiny small cup of caffeine, but the endeavor is worth it as it is one of the tastiest and rich blends of coffee you’ll ever have. Do not drink it to the end drop though, the bottom of the cup is occupied with coffee grinds.

Kariye Museum / Chora Church

The Church of St Savior, Chora Church, or Kariye Museum is a bit off the beaten track, but we recommend you too well worth a visit. Located in Edirnekapi (Chora), next to the old city walls, it is one of the most astonishing religious building Istanbul has to offer. The ceilings and walls of this church are adorned with fabulous Byzantine mosaics and stunning frescoes. Some are considered as the most important among the Christian world. And enjoy the remains of the 5. century city walls and the wooden Ottoman houses while you are there.

Dolmabahçe Palace

Dolmabahçe Palace is very very captivating! The palace is enormous — six hundred (600 meters) in length — having no less than 285 rooms and 43 salons. It was constructed in 1856 by Sultan Abdülmecit, actually to prove that the declining Ottoman Empire was doing just fine. Some key features are the main bathroom, the Baccarat crystal staircase, and the ceremonial hall with its 4.5-ton chandelier.  To see them is impressive. After the institution of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk adopted the palace as its home and died there November 10 in 1938 at 09:05. As a tribute, all clocks in the palace show the time, 09:05.

Bosphorus Private Yacht Tours

Don’t think that “private yacht” is very expensive. If you have a crowded group, for example, 10 passengers, you can cruise the Bosphorus on a chartered yacht by cheaper price. If you check our website you will see many tours options, such as Private Yacht Tours, DAILY BOSPHORUS CRUISES, Dining Cruises, and Istanbul City tours. Most vessels have capacities of the minimum of 10 voyagers, many of them can host larger groups.
