Visit Egyptian Market, another name is Spice Bazaar, colored spices are displayed alongside Turkish Delight (jewel-like lokum) at that Ottoman-period marketplace, providing eye candy for the thousands of foreign visitors and locals who make their way here every day. Stalls also sell dried herbs, honey, caviar, dried fruits, and nuts.

Make your way to the shores of Istanbul Strait, board a boat, and head out into the sea. Cruising along the shoreline, gaze at the landscapes of the opulent Dolmabahce Palace and the simplicity of the solitary Leanders Tower (Kız Kulesi).

City Walls (Byzantine City Walls)

Istanbul’s first city walls were constructed to protect the acropolis, situated where Topkapi Palace is today. The second set was founded by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus in 203 and was outside the Greek walls by some three hundred meters.

Golden Horn (Haliç)

It has long been a natural harbor of Istanbul. Also known as Haliç in modern Turkish. It is a large urban waterway and the primary inlet of Istanbul Bosphorus.

Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Market)

The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of caraway, cinnamon, saffron, mint, and other spices.

It is built between 1597 and 1664, it is the 2. oldest covered bazaar in Istanbul. You can find there a lot of different aromas of various spices. The shops sell flowers, vegetables, fruit, fish and more.

Bosphorus By Boat

A fabulous cruise between Asia and Europe continents, along the Strait by the Military High School, Rumeli Fortress, Ciragan Palace, and Ortakoy Mosque.

Castle was constructed by Mehmet II to prevent the Byzantine fleet, which had control of the Bosphorus, from contacting with its north allies.

Program

09:00 The tour begins with a drive along the Golden Horn to view the Old City Walls (from the tour bus).

Then, you shall visit the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Market) the last stop of Silk Road where today still the varied types of spices, Turkish delights, herbal teas, Turkish coffee, and souvenirs are offered.

The tour ends at the Spice Bazaar. Then, you will take a cruise on Bosphorus by public boat for about 1,5 hours and your guide will give you the detailed information behind it.

The boat is wide and safe with a covered and heated seating space. The tour shall go ahead along the Bosphorus until Rumeli Fortress. You shall see Dolmabahce Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Ciragan Palace, Leander’s Tower, and Bosphorus Fortresses during the tour from the boat. (no interior or land visit).
