Our Covid -19 Measures

As Istanbul Bosphorus’s premier cruise operator the health and safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority. As such we have performed strict infection control procedures to ensure the safety, health, and hygiene of everybody on board.

In line with Government suggestions, and working alongside local legislative bodies, we have decreased the risk of contact with COVID-19 across all of our locations, boats, and yachts.

That guide shall answer your questions about how to prepare in advance for your cruise, what social distancing measures are in place, and what hygiene and cleaning procedures we have applied.

If possible, please book your tickets online in advance for your all cruises.

Currently, Government advice doesn’t require you to wear a face mask to travel on our boats. Please check our website just before your cruise date where we shall publish any changes to this policy.

On-Board

The capacity for all cruises has been decreased expressively, so that we can ensure that social distancing measures are maintained on arrival, onboard, and as you disembark.

Whether traveling by your vehicle or public transport, we ask that you adhere to all social distancing advice before you arrive at tour departure points.

If possible, please, we request that any ticket or refreshment transactions made on the day are made using contactless.

Please follow all the rules of social distancing: stay at least 1.5 meters away from other travelers on our boats. We’ve reduced our tour capacity to have enough space for everybody.

The seating onboard our excursion vessels have been clearly marked to indicate which seats our guests can sit on, to ensure that a social distance is kept at all times.

It will be conducting frequent disinfection of all touchpoints including handrails, tables, door handles, and seating.

We’ve installed hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance to all of our boats for our guests to use as they board and disembark.

We kindly ask all of our guests to adhere to Government recommendations regarding personal hygiene whilst on board, including washing hands regularly with water and soap, for at least 20 seconds.

All crew is issued with PPE, which may include face shields, face masks, disposable gloves, and hand sanitizer, to protect them and our passengers.

Please make sure that you are convenient to travel before you leave your hotel or home. If you display any COVID-19 symptoms then we won’t be able to let you board one of our vessels. In these situations, you can contact us to talk about options for rescheduling your reservation.
